Mary Hawkins is a professor at  the University of Ottawa teaching Communications, public speaker, journalist, photo journalist and author of five books. Throughout her diverse career, she has developed insights into human behaviour and the power faith plays in guiding one’s spirit on life’s journey. She will speak about the importance of instilling and having faith to stave off darkness and surround others and oneself with the light.
