Al and Bev Batten are the founders of the Batten Gale Spiritualist Trust which is dedicated to the advancement of spiritualism. They lecture, teach, and conduct workshops in mediumship, auragraphs, etc. along with serving other churches in Canada, the United States and Great Britain. Al is an author of three books on spiritualism:  ‘Love and Progress; “The Third Helix” and “The Philosophy of Spiritualism, Its Origins and History”.

Each year in September, at Jackson’s Point (north of Toronto), the Battens host the ‘Stansted Experience’ with tutors from the Arthur Findlay College of England. Students from across Canada and the United States attend these classes.
